So, I guess it's my turn to tell you my stake in this..... Well, I am actually very opinionated when it comes to the topic of abortion. I don't think abortion is wrong.........in all cases. I am completely 100% against the use of abortion as a form of contraception because that is just wrong. If you can't handle having a baby, then sweetie, you shouldn't handle having sex. There are, however some rare cases when abortion is acceptable in my opinion. An abortion is only acceptable when the mother's physical or mental health is highly at risk. For example, if you're pregnant and you're baby is killing you, like if having this baby WILL kill you, I think it would be acceptable to have an abortion. I also believe that an abortion is also acceptable when the mother has been raped. Imagine waking up every morning and feeling like a big bad monster is growing inside of you, It could make a woman extremely emotionally fragile and susceptible to crazy actions. Another thing is, if an abortion is had to save a child from a short miserable life, then I think it's an act of mercy. Like if you know that your baby will have a debilitating disease that will never allow him/her to ever truly live, (like tay-sachs) then maybe it's also acceptable. This is just where I stand.
